Head of the Director-General Office

Before starting as Head of the Director-General’s office, Karin Borsboom was head of Directorate Support and Administrative Affairs at the Customs Administration of the Netherlands. From 2006 to 2019, she held various positions at the Repatriation and Departure Service, including senior advisor and head of the Strategic Advice Department. Before that, she worked for the Immigration and Naturalisation Service for about eight years, including as an interviewer decision-maker and senior policy officer. Karin Borsboom studied Public Administration at Erasmus University from 1991 to 1998.
